The Go Green 400W Metal Halide Fish Light is a great selection for use on ponds, small docks in shallow water, and on small boats with a power inverter. The 400W Metal Halide bulbs will produce a 150’ radius of light in clear water. This can attract fish from up to 1.5 miles.
The light kit comes complete, ready to plug in. There is simply one plug between the ballast and the light, and then the 120V power plug. The 400W light draws under 3.6 amps on 120 volts.
The light kit includes:
400W Electronic Ballast
400W MH Bulb w/ 50' of cable attached
18" tall plastic coated stainless steel protection cage
The light can be suspended from a dock, suspended from a boat, or set in place on the ground. The weight disc on the bottom of the cage will keep the lamp weighted, and the large surface area will keep the bulb from becoming submerged in silt. Approximately 20,000 hour life expectancy.
